what do you prefer while linking to sponsor galleries from your site.

1)
This drops cookie instantly.


2)
this doesnt drops cookie until the surfer clicks the paysite link on fhg.


so what do you guys prefer ?

What do you mean it drops the cooky?

I thought both would take the affiliate code accross to the sign up page no problem.

second shorter link , looks less spammy

the 1st link drops cookie instantly on surfers device.

while the second link takes you to the gallery with your code in url and in all links going to the paysite.but no cookie gets dropped if surfer dont click the join paysite link on the gallery page.
what i mean is.

if you use 2nd link.

surfer clicks on it goes to the gallery , watches pics and movie there. (didnt clicked the link which takes him to paysite)
closes the window.

after some time, he goes directly to paysite and signs up.

you dont get sale. coz cookie was not set.

I'd take 3rd option... custom named bit.ly or tinyurl...

I know most would not believe this but I try to see where all joins come from and if by chance someone did not get credit for it ccbill lets me asign the sale to them. It is easy to do while having 3 people send traffic but now that I have a few doing that 23K deal I am making sure it is all good :)

Yes, it's much more powerful than stand-alone CCBill link codes.
I realize it's not that easy to just go and get nats setup though.
I'm just saying.

I have many, many clients and most are using your second option. Affiliates do not seem to care that much.

They shouldn't do. Nats is setup to save cookies for 30 days!:(
