Getting around setting up a couple of tubesites (all legal), seems like theres a bunch of different scripts out there, what do you use, whats the "best" in relation to its license cost?

thinking of getting avs but I see people using WP-plugins, webloader v7, are they as good?

Mechbunny looks good but the price is crazy

Yeah, might not go with that until I'm convinced theres any money left in tubes

also, I like that it uses FMS/Red5 as I've got years of experience using them in my "dayjob"

It supports Wowza/FMS/Red5 and really any other RTMP out there, but red5 I think doesn't support h264/mp4 and it seemed really slow last we tried using it.

My vote goes for MechBunny. Using it on 110+ tubes, works like charm with Wowza.
Knowledgebase is growing, and Konrad's support is usually lightning fast and professional. :pimp

If your just dipping your toe into tubes then id go for the cheapest option that gives you the features you want. I see tubeace has a 10 day trail...

IM making a few assumptions here, but I think if your asking "is mechbunny worth the price", then you don't NEED mechbunny.

If your asking "what's the best tube script for my sites?". Then your prolly ready for mechbunny.

Yeah, its something like that and I'll probably try some of the cheaper ones to start with.

Mechbunny seems like the tool the big boys use, wont go with it until I'm certain on investing time and money on tubes. I'm sure its worth the money asked.

Looked around on the licenses some other tubes have and its almost clear that if your looking for a lot of futures and to host it on more than one domain, you'll have to pay up and suddenly even the cheap scripts arn't that cheap anymore.

Haven't heard about tubeace, will look into it.
