Out Of Body Experience

Anyone here had an Out Of Body Experience without taking drugs?

shermo 10-04-2012 12:55 PM

Once while I was asleep. I wrote it all down as it was so strange. I showed my wife what I wrote, as part of it was me hearing/witnessing a quiet conversation with her and her sister downstairs while I was upstairs sleeping.

It was a bit odd to say the least.

Just curious, why w/o drugs?

cthulhu_waves 10-04-2012 01:38 PM

I was fifteen then and I was sleeping in the sofa. I dreamt that I was floating in the ceiling and I was looking at myself sleeping. I remember before sleeping that it was nighttime but my vision while I was floating that it was daytime. At the corner of my eye, I could see a man cloaked in black and it seemed he was waiting for me. The cloaked man didn't say anything or even moved, like he was waiting for me to do something. It had gotten so creepy I closed my eyes and I woke up with the chills. I never got to repeat that. Maybe it was a dream or maybe it was an out of body experience.

Once. I was experimenting with self-hypnosis and transcendental meditation techniques at the time.

It's called Depersonalization. It happens to people who have anxiety disorders.

Did it feel like something was pushing down on your chest trying to kill you?

scarlettcontent 10-04-2012 03:05 PM

I had an OBE when I was 10, at the time I was quite ill with the flu, my soul left my body for a short time and rose above my body then popped back in. it was very freaky.

lakerslive 10-04-2012 03:20 PM

Guys, according to Dirty D/johnny clips, everything u felt or experienced was just a figment of your imagination. ALL FAKE.

So, if "souls" exist, then ghosts exists. Ghosts = after life.

Similar situation here, self hypnosis, a while back. But it has happened since then , but not very often. I enjoy the experience:thumbsup

It's your brain working. When your brain stops working there is no more you. No soul. It's quite simple really.
Anything else you believe in is just that. Believe. And based on nothing but hope.

I use to have this kind of experience since I'm child. Now less and less.
Without any drugs!

I have a pair of Fatshark Dominator video googles, and a wireless security camera. I can turn on the camera, put on the goggles, and watch myself walk around and do shit and trip over things.

Instant out of body experience, no drugs needed.
