Are you ready for Sandy?

They are saying it could be like the 1991 "Perfect Storm".

It could directly hit NYC....

I wonder how it will affect the election.

Hurricanes are for losers.

Ha, blew by here in Palm beach, wasn't any worse than a minor Drizzle rain shower.

They need shelter to shelter them from the storm. Sandy reportedly caused up to 40 deaths as it tore through the Caribbean on Thursday and Friday. This is very serious. The main point here is where they are located like longitude and latitude. They can’t always just run away from the storm – maybe they don’t have enough time.

It didn't get mixed with the other storm yet, and hit the Northeast yet, either...LOL!

No, not yet, but we will be prepping tomorrow. Water, batteries, charging all our devices and flashlights. The only thing I'm actually any bit worried about is hot water. With a newborn in house, can't go without hot water. I should pick up a few camp fuel burners.

As for flooding, no worries exactly where I am. I am 8 meters above sea level on a hill. Anything above that, I am 2 stories up heh. We have a fairly large lake system 100 feet away that's fed by a river and held back by a power dam 100 miles up the river. It sometimes does bring water to the main road when dam is let to drain. So if it does go any further than that.. we may get stranded for a bit but not too worried.
