When will celebrities learn that no one is ever going to take their politics seriously?

They don't even live in same world as their fans, who gives a shit who the president of la la land is?

Performers should just preform and just tell people to vote if anything and not take sides while in a concert. They shouldn't try to cross the line and tell people how to vote, but just to vote, when people pay to see their show.

If they are at a political event, at an interview or out campaigning then it's another story, but people don't want to be told how to vote when they are paying to watch your show.

and your solution is what? to complain and do nothing? I'll take the status quo instead...

What makes stars and musicans think they know anything more than anyone else about politics? I mean, I'm sure that someone who makes millions of dollars a year fully understands what the middle class if feeling.

I always get annoyed when I'm at a concert or some kind of event and the performer starts going on and on about politics or their beliefs. I just paid good money to watch this person perform because they have good talent, not because I want to hear their personal politics.

Of course she was. That whole area is solid republican red. If she had said it in NY she would have got deafening cheers since NY is polling (fwiw) at +26 here.

I laugh when i read in the newspaper every few days about people going to see her 'MDNA' concert, and being "outraged!" about the first couple of songs when she has a gun and you see bloodshots on the big screen. It said people walked out in disgust the other day lol. No doubt the same people went home and watched fucking Die Hard...
