mozilla thunderbird - lost my profile and email settings, damn!
 

Is there any way to restore it?
I found some troubleshooting http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering...ly_disappeared but neither of the 2 suggestions seem to work. pref.js file seems ok, my profile folder seems ok and rerouting thunderbird to that folder does not help.

Its a long shot to post this question here, but maybe anybody else had the same problem with thunderbird?
