How to deal with an online bully.
 

Let everyone who knows him what he gets up to. Some people try to hide behind the anonymity of being online. However with some digging around, contacts from other victims it easy to find people who know the bully offline.

Inform them of what the bully does in his attempts to intimidate others. Even to the point of annoying them so they react. Phone calls, emails, ICQ, Skype, etc.

It may not stop the bully, but it will let people who know them what they're like and maybe bring shame to the bully. It might even cost them a job or two.

The bullying might be fun for the bully and onlookers, it's rarely fun for the victim.

However if the bully picks an asshole to bully, he might get it back. An asshole with time on his hands is an even poor choice of a victim.

Yes it was hilarious. He sent a moaning wall of text email to a client full of lies, and a text file of all the posts I make mocking him.

Then he claimed he called up the CTO to complain about me.

The lie that Alex was a man and you were there yesterday was funny. SHE said you rarely go there. Maybe SHE is lying.

Martin Quinlan was well pissed off with getting a phone call about this matter.

Guess they will be more pissed off as I step it up a level.

He was mighty pissed off and wanted to know how I got his phone number and address. I told him the domain was registered to him at what appears to be his home address. That was a silly move. He knows you, acknowledges you work for them, that you have an email address linked to the company.

So pissed off he was going to get lawyers onto me. If I rubbish his company.

He can try, because all I need to do is post the truth.
