are you from US/Canada? they said offer is valid for US/CA only.

Also in my humble opinion, godaddy sucks.

I think they started using CCBill as their processor.

No. I received the same error here on a card with plenty of money on it which I have been using for years. I even used it last month without a problem but for some reason I got that same error. I gave them a call at that number and they took care of me using the same card. I suspect it's something they do to throttle use of the new promo code.

Um.. $0.99 + ICANN Fee of $0.18 = $1.17. Even if you only buy one domain, your total should be over $1.00.

Lykos 11-28-2012 12:11 PM

Fuck.... i need to buy 100+ domains.. any special deals for eu ppl?

Ah. My apologies. :thumbsup

I was just trying to use this code, and even when it's asking me for my credit card info, it still isn't reflecting the discount. Does it deduct after that point, or is the code not working for me?

Thanks for the heads up on this, boziffous.

Interestingly, it doesn't appear to work on a Chrome Browser or maybe for brand new accounts?

I was able to put only one through, after calling their billing department when i got "unable to process" error. However my guy couldn't even find the 99 cent offer on his Chrome Browser, and when he created an account (he didn't have a godaddy acount at all), it didn't allow the promo code, or show the 99 cent offer at all.

I tried it in Chrome and now IE, and it shows that the coupon is applied, but for three domains, it's still showing my total as $30.51. I don't care enough to call their billing department, so I'll just hold off on my purchase....lol.

Hmm..I used the $1.99 coupon the other day...wonder if they are limiting how many coupons I can use in xx number of days?

Or does it not show the discount until I actually enter my cc and click submit?
