Hey what do you all think the best SEO

Hey folks what do you all think is a good word press theme for seo? Do you think it would be best to stick with the default one that WP gives you? Should we go out and get a different one? Please explain which one(s) are the best at getting good SEO results. Thanks so much in advance.

Just a shot in the dark, but these days I'd think something as lightweight as possible. Something that you can operate with minimal plugins while still being able to keep people there as long as possible to maximize time on site and minimize load time. Otherwise I don't know what a theme would contribute to SEO that you wouldn't be getting from one of the SEO plugins.

Probably you should customize it for the desired results.

Honestly, it doesn't matter what "theme" as long as the content is good, proper titles and descriptions used within the theme and that each page has decent interlinking between different areas of the site. Which most do.

However, some themes do muck up things a bit depending on the purpose they were intended for though so try disabling CSS in your browser to see how the page looks, If all the elements are there, don't worry too much about it.

theme is irrelevant.

The best SEO Theme is probably Thesis.

The Theme definitely matters, theme structure and how well its coded, definitely will have an impact in SEO.

However you could always use the Twenty Ten theme or any other clean and good theme with a few good SEO Plugins like WordPress SEO, SEO Infinite or ALL IN One... Just to name a few. Obviously we are only talking about the site's "base" here. Then it comes content and all the rest.

I bought Thesis and used it for a while. But the latest version is too hard to customize. They took away a lot of the ability to create custom headers and stuff. It's almost too simple to use and doesn't really let you get into the editor and do stuff that you want. So I'm using "Twenty Twelve" theme.

I would avoid the default theme, already way too many sites using it.I would go for thesis or U-Design with an seo plugin(a free one like yoast is ok).Make sure your titles and tags re set up properly(h1 etc) and dont keyword stuff
