Probably get it on ps3 just kind of alternate between Xbox and ps3 unless its a game to be played online with some Xbox live friends. Avoid games on the computer because that's like work

Agreed...after spending 40 hours working at my computer during the week, the last thing I want to do is spend more time playing a game.

PS3 and my couch all the way

---and I'm loving this game more than any I've played in years. I had a few days off and had a marathon getting so deep into Far Cry 3. Great acting and story, awesome weapons and environment. I must have put in about 25 hours so far, and I've only just arrived at the second island.

Anyone finding the coop laggy as fuck?

Since when is PC old, you mean original right ? That being said, ive ownen all th PS and xboxes and nothing compares to computer game play, those controls are a joke in comparison to the abilities of a mouse and keyboard. I cant wait till they migrate them to cross platforms soo people will realize that.

You're right about that...the controls suck on console compared to PC, but you get used to it.

--and if you're playing multiplayer, everyone else is using the same crappy analog sticks so its an even playing field.

and if you're playing multiplayer on pc then everyone is using keyboard+mouse, so it's an even playing field :winkwink:

I find playing on a computer worthless because of the amount of mods and hacks out there... PC gamers always say that some twelve year old kid saying he fucked my mom is annoying... I can mute those little shits... Plus nothing is more satisfactory then owning them as they talk shit... But what I don't like is some little shit doing this:

If you gotta cheat to enjoy the game, maybe you should find another game that's easier for you to play... :2 cents:

That being said, I did enjoy the first Far Cry game, and haven't played the second or this one... I got too much on my plate as it is... I just picked up a bunch of games, plus Just Cause 2 has been holding my attention.. Damn you arock!

not sure if it works, but it looks like cheating isn't only a PC issue :)

The PS3 Cheat Enabler is a simple GUI app that lets you turn on cheats in your games.

I have to strongly disagree with this. Gaming on the PC offers a wider array of benefits over console gaming:

Steam platform - No need to purchase actual hard copies of games or worry about scratching / losing disks.
Much much higher graphic capabilities. - New graphics cards come out all the times and new games are always pushing the limits of what PC gaming can do. Console developers have to design and limit the game based on the same graphics card the console shipped with, several years ago.
Better communication platforms - Keyboard, Ventrillo/Mumble/Skype for voice chat - much higher quality than the low quality VoIP for console.

Just the graphics alone is enough to make me never want to play console.

It was first released on November 11, 2006

Graphics processing is handled by the NVIDIA RSX 'Reality Synthesizer', which can output resolutions from 480i/576i SD up to 1080p HD.[42] The PlayStation 3 has 256 MB of XDR DRAM main memory and 256 MB of GDDR3 video memory for the RSX

Compared that to a reasonably priced graphics card for PC: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814202008
Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16

No I'm just saying there's no sense in comparing the PC versus console controls, because 2 people from each camp will never be going head to head.

All of those things you said are true, but you failed to mention something.

It could be considered a more enjoyable gaming experience to lay back on the couch with a 55 inch screen, and a wireless controller.

Also, when it comes to graphics, I don't think that many people care if a tree looks more real, or less jaggy. I'd rather play a good, crappy looking game than a pretty, empty one any day. Far Cry 3 has both, but I just couldn't care about graphics any more.

Read story number 5 on this page.

It would be great if they had something like this for a shooters, except you don't get real bullet-holes.

Best-In-BC 12-09-2012 10:13 PM

It seems in PC gaming if you suck everyone is a hacker, My average 1.4 in BO2 and I hardly ever see any hackers, theres no benfit to the consumer using a consol other than he cant cry like a bitch there all hacking

:thumbsup

Every PC gamer has said the same thing to me "Oh man the graphics are way better!" then I see screenshots and there's no real big difference... Woopity do, a tree shows more bark texture and less flat... It's a game, if I wan't realistic life like stuff, I'll go outside.

I sit at this computer for sometimes upwards to 20 hours a day working, the last thing I want to do is "relax" some day sitting at it longer... :Oh crap
