Daft email from a hotel in London..

Booked a hotel room for a night next week, about a month ago.

Just got a '*Highly Personalised*' email from them that says:

Quote:

Reservation Reminder:

We're excited you'll be visiting and are preparing for your stay!
I know its just promotional BS, but I find it funny that they would even consider saying that they are 'excited', or that they are currently preparing for my stay, a week in advance LOL

Yay! CurrentlySobers coming - in person! Stock up on tolet paper !!! :winkwink:

I would have used "who" instead of "what" in that case :1orglaugh

Some people are obviously so disorganized they may have forgotten.

True, but it was really the LEVEL of personalisation that made me smile :)

I wont post the entire email, cause the amount of PERSONAL info I'd have to redact, would be silly! But thats my point - Had they simply said:

Quote:

Dear XXX,

Your reservation for the XXX is confirmed - Hope you enjoy your stay...
I wouldn't have thought anything of it... But the word 'Excited' and the visual that they are 'preparing' - 'Just for me!' simply gave me the giggles :)
