SEO Help Please
Call me an idiot, but one of my competitors is posting on blogs like this getting free back links.
How does someone post on a website like this? http://50fiftyclothing.com/blog1/ http://50fiftyclothing.com/blog1/?page_id=2 ? I thought google would not like these type links. Just total random BS! |

http://www.medicalinfo101.com/ More examples of BS blogs. |
You're an idiot - you asked!
Hey! Its Google. Useless random nonsense that changes constantly. Google is so fucking paranoid that nothing that you do will ever be "right". You might fluke out now and then, but don't worry about it. Don't worry about what other people are doing. Just build your own brand, raise it up the flagpole, and see who salutes. The last thing I worry about is Google. They're doing just fine. They don't need me, and I've set things up so that I don't actually need them anymore. The monthly traffic spikes and dips are exciting, but I don't even pay attention anymore. Fuck Google. |
Rollercoaster baby
|
some people believe in any back link is good. most people believe in quality.
|
I believe in hard work , then smoke
|
comment spam has been around forever :2 cents::2 cents::2 cents:
|
Quality will win over spam every time
|
I hear ya on quality, but this shit is pissing me off

Comment links aren't completely dead, they still pass some juice as long as they aren't on a site that G has classified as a "bad neighborhood." And it is my observation (I only have anecdotal proof) that G seems to be a little more lenient towards adult sites when it comes to "bad neighborhood" links. I think they figure all adult sites are sort of a bad neighborhood anyway.

He isn't commenting spam. He's writing articles and submitting them.
A: How does someone find these random blogs that will take articles? |

Does he submit or does he have blogs that are getting scraped?
I find a heap of mainstream articles scraped and put on so many heap of shit blogs. |

If I did the same with a very mainstream site, no go.... ask me how I know. :1orglaugh Comment spam certainly works, but it's not reliable nor the best solution, IMHO. |

I have 3 SB licenses and SB cannot publish posts, you can post blog comments if you really want to, but I wouldn't bother Quote:

What are you guys using to check backlinks?
|
Quote:
Right now, ahrefs.com is probably the best, the free account gives you various stats about a site's link profile and lets you export 500 of the backlinks if you have ScrapeBox, you can export 1000 of any site's links, but the data is pulled from Alexa's API if I'm not mistaken (now called Amazon webservices or something like that), so I would still run it through ScrapeBox internal link checker as to weed out the dead links |
I use backlinkwatch.com for check them.
Anyone else? |

opensiteexplorer.org also works good

I never knew about http://ahrefs.com I still haven't figured out how to find these random BS blogs that take these articles! :winkwink: |
Does anyone know of a service that does this type of stuff? This is mainstream.
|
reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
|
I clicked the first link and it's 404. Didn't last long I guess?
|
Great way to rocket to the top and then end up sandboxed with a dead domain a short time later.
On the other hand, quality articles submitted to credible relevant sites are more helpful than they ever were in the past. As simple hardlinks go into decline, contextual links before far more worthwhile. |
majesticseo.com also is good for backlinks.
|
I used to have wood. Now I do not!
|
seomoz , linkdetective.com, and a couple of LDA tools. But its the ones you can't see that are probably the real juicy ones IMHO. But those pages are 404 now in any case

It's not cheap, but it's what most big SEO companies use for bulk low to medium value links. It's also great for your link velocity and diversity, and for keeping your anchor text diverse. It has a learning curve, but once you have it up and running you basically let it do its thing while you spend your time getting your high value links. |
