Let's talk about CCbill cascades - SegPay, Epoch, etc.

Let's talk about CCbill cascades - SegPay, Epoch, etc.

Are they worth the effort?
Is there anything in the contracts to look out for?
What do you think about the fees for chargebacks etc?

Do you think it picks up a significant amount of sales that otherwise would have been declined by ccbills scrubbing?

How do affiliates/customers respond?

ANY feedback is definately worth discussion.

This seems like a big step and I want to make sure it will pay off.

Having spoken to several CCBill reps about this very issue, of course they all as to have CCBill as the primary, followed by Epoch, followed by SegPay.

My guess would be, if I spoke in depth with a rep at Epoch they'd tell me Epoch, CCBill, SegPay.

What we are actually in the process of doing is setting up some non-adult sites through CCBill and rather than cascading them to other adult processors, we're going to set the decline page to offer a payment via Paypal.

Would definitely be interesting to see some 'real life' experiences and/or stats on this topic though.

Cascades work well. We do it and you get credit for it.

Yeah, that is interesting, however I am aiming to make sure affiliates get credit for cascade sales, otherwise forget it.
