how much to maintain used maserati?

Just curious.
For instance this could be had for 35K
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-...a860cb #v4-36
How much would it cost to maintain it compared to some new car (for instance some bmw or MB) that also cost 35K?

#1 the steering wheel is on the wrong side that will cost a bit to get fixed

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

So? I knew that I can't afford it even without you informing me :2 cents:

if you get the work done at masarati it will be expensive. I would recommend you getting your oil changed elsewhere. The i would reocommend getting an extended service contract. so if something brakes its covered. that might cost an extra 4-5k. But will most likely be worth it if you place to keep the car.

Buying a car on ebay means you are already dumb as fuck anyways so it shouldn't matter.

What about prices of spare parts? Lets say you need to change some routine suspension parts (likes of these http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--V3KtuZHMt...auto_ste.j pg )

With Bmw or Mb yo ucan get originals from the dealers or buy from many different manufacturers (from expensive to cheap).
Would you have a chance to buy non originals for maserati or only super expensive originals would be available?

Or after an accident, things like headlights or hood - only super expensive originals?

You are dumb as fuck as ebay is completely irrelevant here, its just an example of random maserati. I assume you wanted me to go to a dealer and take a photo myself and only then create a thread? :1orglaugh

I would ask at a body shop. I really dont know. I would also recommend having full coverage insurance so you dont have to worry about a hood or exterior parts :).

If you cant afford full coverage do not get it. My friend had this same car. He is rich. He got into a small accident and it was like 15k repairs (not even scamming) a similar accident on another car, even MB or Lexus would have been 3-5k max.

Italian cars aren't known for their reliability... Oil changes and stuff like that probably won't be so much, but stuff like brakes etc are most likely only available from maserati directly since there probably isn't enough of these cars for companies like brembo etc to make replacement pads and so such.

Yep, thats what I was thinking, you have to buy parts only directly and that keeps the prices extra high compared to mainstream cars. Like in this example 15k in repairs instead of 3k.
