I met a postdoc from Spain a couple days ago. He just got in to UCLA for work. he mentioned that Spain is about to blow as well. And many Spaniards are wondering why the entire Med is in crisis except for one country. Perhaps the engineer of the crisis?

There are food kitchens and free food giveaways all over the place. In in most cases, I could probably put photos together that look just like that.

The subtle difference might be that the Greeks in the photos look fairly well fed and healthy, not like the long term homeless folks in big cities.

It's free food, give that away anywhere in the world and people will push and shove for it.

and some countries like Greece need to face the fact that if you want to be prosperous in today's world you better be prepared as a nation to work your ass off and produce educated people who can compete. everybody in every country should wake up and learn how to be self sufficient, how to grow their own food, fish and hunt. somewhere along the line everybody just began taking for granted that they were owed a nice existence, it was their birthright - one thing history teaches, nothing good results from a large underclass.

Even in Spain with 25%+ unemployment.. who comes in and picks the grapes and Olives..
Romanians, Moroccans.. because the Spanish youth wont do a hard days work for low money.. They all think they're geniuses because they've been to University.. well guess what Spain doesn't need 50,000 people with degrees in Marketing they need people who will work shit jobs.

The dynamic people leave to work abroad, the others who wont leave their mummies complain.

I live here.. all the cleaners of buildings are South Americans, the laborers on building sites black, why because they'll work for $10 an hour without complaining to the unions, they work on a 3 month contract instead of crying cause they cant get a contract for life like people used to.

Personally Id like to see Spain get more fucked, pull out the euro and revalue their currency, its the only way this will end.

First of all, this was free food. Try to do do that stuff in most countries in the world, and you will see much worse results. I was in Greece recently and it is fantastic, and nice. And I will probably go again next summer. It is far, far away from those photos here and I think they are panicking. I have a feeling that someone is making crisis with very good reason there.
