I am currently writing an analytical paper for the Institute of Internet Researchings about The GFY Friendship Club and come to you with the need for information and opinions.

The main focus of the paper is an analysis of how the once powerful internet organization rapidly faded into nothingness. A comparison can be drawn to the Roman Empire to a certain extent.

Was the GFY Friendship Club assumed too big to fail?
To what extent can the blame be placed on the leadership; how much at fault were the members?
What external factors played a significant role in the downfall?

I'd also like to add some first hand experiences to the paper. Are any ex-members willing to share some insight about their time within the organization?
