Listen carefully to what they're saying in the broadcast.

1) They're talking about retail stores and NOT porn videos.
So of course more women are buying.
They're buying clothing, lotions, vibrators, flavoured condoms, etc.

2) That up 13% refers to a rise in the number of retail stores in the united states
Number of adult stores : 3,458; Up 13.8% in 2012
Again nothing to do with adult porn videos or porn video sales.

As for the wardrobe room with hundreds of thousands of dollars of costumes.
The room was not that big and nothing in there looked as if anything special. At best and only if the wardrobe department was stupid, there is perhaps 3k to 5k worth of clothes.

that was only part of the wardrobe room. Its pretty big and has some amazing stuff in it. I know I am in the studio. That was only 1 segment from the shoot. There are a few more segments. This is a large and very impressive production studio with several sets etc.

Those segments were all good. FOX studio people, as well as the woman doing the live reports, did a good job of NOT being "negative" or "weirded out" about the adult industry.

Funny that even the talking heads at Fox know a little about some of the "controversies" swirling around Manwin and Fabian Thylmann, which they refer to as "piracy", "theft" and "stealing" (although they didn't mention Fabian's recent arrest for massive tax evasion).
