Whats new in adult?!?
It's been about 5 years since I've been really involved in the business, but it seems like nothing has changed at all. Don't they say competition breeds innovation?
That being said, is there anything new in adult online? |
These tube things seem to be getting pretty popular, but it's a fad and they will die off soon.

The "owner" of a large porn company personally did research for the upcoming doughboysinprison.com gay site.

technology hasn't caught up yet - so right now it's diversity in what you're offering. Most either are fearful or simply don't have the knowledge to get into other venue's for making money

And ContentOwners/Sponsors do business directly with Tubes, thus the affiliate model is pretty dead. The big guys got bigger and bigger... and the average guys had to left the business. I would recommend you to invest your time in Mainstream. :2 cents: |
Change never happens over night.
In the past 5 years they finally released the dot xxx domain extensions which caused havoc but the dust settled quickly and it's back to business as per usual. Many tube sites became legit and most who hated them now own one or multiple tubes themselves to generate their own traffic source. Social Media marketing has grown and whilst some realized the power of going viral to create a trusted brand, others are impatient and bitch about how it doesn't work. So realistically not much is new, same ole same ole. If you can't beat em, join em! LOL :2 cents: |

One thing has changed, the product we're trying to sell is now freely available everywhere. I mean for christs sake even the water companies can still charge you for rain from the sky, where did this industry go so wrong ?

It seems that we are living the days of "less hardcore" and "more erotic" porn.
Amazing erotic sites were launched in the last five years. |
