After my third year in, I signed up for, and went through, Ranger Indoctrination Program with the intent of then signing another 6 year hitch for Special Forces, but then my girlfriend back in LA was going through a big bunch of crap and I decided to get out instead. Short term I thought I had made a terrible mistake, but MAN, would my life have been different!

Lots of special people here
|
No. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night!

just elite keyboard warriors here

I tried out for Force Recon three times when I was in the Marines. In fact, I took the test to see if you were eligible to take the "real" test. I failed three times, each time a different part. The first part was a long run on the beach in boots and full gear, the second was an insane obstacle course. I never made it to the third part of the test.
Recently we had a new guy start to hang out with us, and he was telling us he was a Marine in Recon. He was unable to answer any basic question about what he did when he was in the Marines. I've noticed he no longer comes around. |

Second most common lie would be how someone worked for playboy :1orglaugh |

specOps are allowed to talk about their positions, they can just not discuss any classified jobs they have been on.
i know a couple of ex seals and rangers and a still active army sniper(kids got issues). Only the sniper talks about his work much, still getting over it, i guess. A girl I know in high school, her dad was one of the original SEALS, he was a very smart man. crazy thing was, he never made noise when he walked, even on gravel, or the super loud creaking steps in their house, kinda creepy. |
Why do you ask?

Your DD214 shows info about you getting out due to your ex? Does is also detail that other horrific situation you were involved with during your service? |

No offense meant to you or anybody else who has served....BUT....Posting such pics doesn't prove anything. Uniforms, patches, etc...Can all be purchased from other sources. I busted a guy last year who was claiming a fake military record. I reported him to StolenValor.com and a couple other sites. Just because I own a Paraclete plate carrier and a King County Sheriff S.W.A.T. patch doesn't make me a member of their team. Since I'm not trying to pretend, I have no need to redo my carrier to further prove my point....Hopefully you get the idea. Like some others have said, I know a number of operators and not one of them is outspoken about their service activities. Most play it very low key and will be found on forums like Socnet way before GFY. http://ampcontent.com/photos/PlateCarrier.jpg |
yes, I was a Ranger stationed in Jellystone Park in the 60's.

wheres the valor in flying over half the globe to bully badly trained, force drafted, 3rd world civilians who are forced to fight you because they have no place to run? first you impoverish their entire country and keep it hostage to your mickey mouse politics for decades, you silence all democratic opposition with your cowboy bullshit and cement dictators in power, then you carpet bomb the shit out of them, then you move in with armored vehicles and ONLY then do you attack civilians who never did shit to you anyway... where is the valor in that? you guys are just as phoney...report yourself... |
Operators don't go around claiming fame, and couldn't be bothered if you knew they were SF or not. They will, however, always claim military service in general.

i cleaned the shit off of 80+ year old peoples asses - thats why i call brave ;)

Nor am I here to prove anything to anyone. You've obviously read the title of this thread ? Fris asked a question / Question was answered with a authentic dated photograph. Quote:
Impersonating a Police Officer is serious charge. Quote:
As for part two of your question; I've since retired from the military. I am currently a amateur adult content producer as for the reason I am here on this board. I am also co-owner of a once failed night club. My apologies for not trolling and responding to every GFY board thread but building up a brand in the adult market and co-running a night club does take precedence. Hopefully I've cleared up a few things for ya, if not, I'm not sure what else to tell ya. Have a good one people! |

I don't know anyone in the special forces, my grand father was part of the 1st Canadian parachute battalion who had some amazing history in WW2 such as jumping in Normandy on d-day.
He was also part of some special force unit where he trained out of Fort Louis Washington then went on to the Korean War. We are still trying to dig up info about him since he did not discuss it much and he died in the 80s. I don't know if Canada even has special force units anymore. |
One of my best friends is currently in special forces. He is not allowed to talk about 99% of what he does or where he has been.
That doesn't stop me from asking though. |

Although I was quoting you and responding to your photo, I was also directing some of my post to the others who are reading the thread. There's no need for you to feel compelled to yourself here man. Nothing you have posted is out of line or questionable in any way. I'm just saying anybody can buy what you posted. Sorry if I worded that in a way that made you feel I was questioning you directly. Why would somebody buy a patch they did not earn? There are several reasons. They could be a collector, a family member of a fallen soldier who is trying to re-create a uniform for memory sake, or they are a shit bag who wants to pretend they are something they are not. I've been given a lot of patches like the King County one by the agencies themselves. Likewise, I've given patches in return. I also have a bunch of GFY Staff shirts, jackets, etc...Yet, I have never worked for GFY. |
