Just heard it on the Telly.
Sad but I believe its for the best.

Always liked his thumbs up and thumbs down and his movie reviews.
All this before the net / social sites and the likes of rotten tomato.

RIP.

A true cultural icon and a great writer. 70 seems young to me now, ten years ago it seemed old. Age changes your perception of time and mortality.

A wonderful life, that cancer destroyed, when will we slay the beast. :Oh crap

brassmonkey 04-04-2013 01:12 PM

I really enjoyed watching Siskel and Ebert, "At the Movies". I was pleasantly surprised when I learned years ago, that Roger Ebert had co-written "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls", with campy B-movie director Russ Meyer:

Soon, I think. We're making huge advancements in cancer research right now.
