Last time I went I was still in school, a few decades ago

Went from school. Never since.

Never been to one and NEVER will.

Just getting home now from one.

I never even went to school... :( Let alone an opera...

About 3 years. Why? lol

Just wanted to see if there are GFYers with broader cultural interests or we are all just a bunch of nerds and keyboard warriors

Last week. Going again in a week. Toronto has a lot to offer culturally, so why not indulge in opera, dance, theatre, the symphony, etc...

Why not? It's quite an experience if you go to a good one.

Exactly - why not enjoy what is there? Plus, you have Stratford not too far away with Shakespeare, etc.

I went to see the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center here in NYC about 2 years ago. My in-laws got my lady and I tickets for the holidays. My lady goes all the time. Im not that into it.

Have'nt been in a while, but I did go to the Ballet a few weeks ago :Graucho

I saw an opera at the Naples Opera House when I was in Italy last year. Amazing building.

I've never been to the opera.
