There simply are not any TV news outlets
 

...that are reliable and unbiased. Since news has become money making tools for the networks (news used to cost the networks money) that is the bottom line for them...not reliable and unbiased reporting.

Out of the major networks, I find CBS to be the most acceptable, however I typically get my news from the internet using a variety of sources and use my own judgement as to what I believe.

I use multiple sources and attempt to weed through the bullshit and draw my own conclusions...but I do not like having to do that.

Al Jazeera is actually pretty good and the bbc.. but you probably cant get them.

BBC is completely biased, Al Jazeera is good on some stuff, but biased with their coverage of Libya and Syria

I live in the US and I have easy access to both those outlets.

If I have to turn on the news, it's Al Jazeera 90% of the time.

I would disagree with the OP. The old ones that were pretty good before still exist. Just stay away from the ones that are biased. They are pretty clear about it.

I tend to watch CNN mostly. However, much to my surprise I've found Al Jazeera to be good really.
