Website idea. Install a streaming webcam looking over the worst cross streets. People can watch live crimes from the safety of their homes.

Crime is high but depends on where you live, few blocks can be a substantial difference in safety, most shit happens on the west & south east side where you wouldn't want to live anyway, common sense helps as well like don't walk through an alley at 2 a.m. drunk with an iphone in your hand and wonder why ya got mugged, moving to Tampa, FL area in 1-2 years but that decision is based on weather/family over crime stats. Will it be safer in Tampa area probably so but it will also be more boring with less shit to do as I go out there every year and it's cool but no Chicago. :2 cents:

Tampa is a fun city ... Sure there is crime and poverty blah blah blah, but overall it has to be better than Chicago.

Chicago is actually fun and theres a lot of good areas its just the bad areas are really bad black areas

spot on, the west and south east side are so out of control especially in the summer when tempers are short cause brother man ain't got no A/C that it skews the stats for the whole city as those areas are wild as hell. :thumbsup

Most of my porn scenes from the last 10 years were shot in the alleys and abandoned buildings of the #1 and #2 streets. I guess I beat the odds. Nothing ever happened to me. I only stopped because the crime scared my "talent" away and officers started writing me tickets.

I actually grew up in West Memphis, AR which is number 21 on the list. That's right...I'm gangsta! lol. I read an article the other day about the top 100 most dangerous cities but not broken down to the neighborhood like this list, and West Memphis ranked number 4.
