...sold my email address off to Nigerian scammers?

When I started at this a few months ago I created an email address that I only use for affiliate programs (and this web site) and low and behold I started getting a large volume of Nigerian scam offers (and ONLY nigerian scam offers) in my SPAM folder. Has anyone heard of a sponsor selling off email addresses recently? Is this a common practice?

(fwiw I don't really mind - I actually read them sometimes for lolz.)

sorry.. they told me that they would never actually do anything with it and they just wanted it so they could look at it.. Seems the fuckers lied to me.. grrrr!!!! ;)

To be honest I was expecting worse ;-) It's probably just a 'rogue' employee who did it. Since it's ONLY nigerian scams I am assuming it was only sold off once.

their scraping vbulletin i know a person that scrapes forums here. not sure if he is still doing it.
