Is cams.com worth promoting?

Are they any good anything i should know e.g. cookie length or lifetime revenue

signupdamnit 05-25-2013 12:03 PM

I've had better conversions with them than most of the others. I've seen some long term recurring buys from them.

Worth it!

georgeyw 05-25-2013 02:48 PM

Check out their cams on your tablet. That is likely the worst mobile site i've ever experienced!

cams.com had about 100k of words on it - the entire T&C plus what seemed like the entire colleciton of encyclopedia britannica!

There is nothing wrong with educating their performers. What do you have against education?!

Crazy Enough 05-25-2013 09:12 PM

Yes. Cams.com was the best converting site for me, but I'm no longer working with cams. I found something that's better for my traffic.

fitzmulti 05-25-2013 09:13 PM

yes. yes! YES! YESSSSSSS! :thumbsup

Fat Panda 05-25-2013 09:15 PM

do they still pay in gold?

Diomed 05-25-2013 09:45 PM

I promoted them briefly,

but that did perform consistently for me which is important. If I had to base another long term "cams" campaign, I would definitely eyeball them before development.

As per their White Label.. I would be interested to see it's continuity through join. Your joins do have to go through a verification process though, which delays the real time stats.

Would love to talk to someone from there with a few questions, might do some tests to see how they still are.

The only real issue of concern is, as always, over-saturation.

Anybody, and I mean anybody that joins a webcam affiliate program is a fool.

It's all un regulated. They are all the same. They lure you with amazing PPS deals... and after you do all the work and set up all the links.... you make a few sales and think, "yes a good program" ...and then, you'll notice thru the months your sales dwindle down to shit??? So you send more and more traffic, and still no sales? Mean time you're sending massive amounts of traffic in.

It's the same bullshit with all the webcam sites I've rep'd over the years. When you inquire as to "what happened to my sales, I've sent in 500,000 hits this month...They respond by saying "oh, the market is slow right now, sales suck...." but the truth is, the skimming and stealing has been perfected to a science. Digital crime is the hardest to detect and what average person has the time and money to sue a webcam company for a drop in sales?

Webcam companies KNOW that even if sales suck, you won't take down all the links because you worked so hard to put them all up. Then, denial kicks in. "oh, next month sales will be better..." LOL Then after a few more months of no sales, you forget about it and move on. But, what you don't know is all your links are sending sales in and there's not a dam thing you can do about it.

The skimming and stealing is so rampant it's hilarious. Site owners pay off 10 dummy accounts and flash the stats to the general public, then steal all the rest.

The porn market is a huge multi billion dollar industry. Sales down? Not a chance. What, you think there is a shortage of testosterone and guys jerking off online? Why do you think these stunning women are all doing webcams? Because that's where the new money is. Sure, your webcam sales suck.... but not their sales. It's the skimming and stealing that is has increased so much, that everybody thinks the market has bottomed out. Webcam affiliates are fools. Nothing but sheep doing all the work for online thieves with no regulation, no inspections, nothing at all. A license to steal right under your nose.

For sure its not that dark...

We sell way over a million $$ per month as affiliate with camsites, and we do very nice profits, in fact more than most paysites/dating..

I will tell you this about Cams.com. Out of all the webcam sponsors I've tried out, they are the only ones who've ever withheld payment. I still have $100 dollars sitting in my account with them. (I immediately pulled out after this.) Their reason for withholding evidently was due to a a poor ratio. I've heard this happening to others as well. So take from that what you will.

That doesn't make any sense. We would have still paid you out if you made sales regardless of the ratio. Send me an email so I can check it out and get you fixed up.

Maybe he's talking about a $100 accumulated total from all your different sites. Isn't it the case that you treat all sites individually for some inexplicable reason? So if your minimum was $100, and you had $99 on ten different sites, you wouldn't be paid?

Yeah, that's how it works with my account anyway. Even each sub-account (rev, pps) is separate for the same site I think. You have to make $50 on one to get paid but for each one where you make $50 they will issue a combined check.

I remember going through a lot of hardship trying to get my money all those years ago, so I wish not to go through it again.
