Fighter Jets over Montreal

Did anyone from Montreal see the 2 fighter jets that flew circles around the city earlier tonight? LOUD and SCARY stuff... anyone know what was going on?

crockett 05-25-2013 07:30 PM

Perhaps Canadians were trying to invade the US embassy and Obama took the GOP's advice this time, sending fighter jets to look all mean and scary..

L-Pink 05-25-2013 07:43 PM

Wish JohnnyClips was still around to explain this shit!

facialfreak 05-25-2013 08:25 PM

It was for the opening of Montreal Impact game at Saputo Stadium.

Rochard 05-25-2013 09:30 PM

Lies. Canada doesn't have any jets.

Juicy D. Links 05-25-2013 09:37 PM

they were from NY area .... we had flyovers for the air show this weekend... The fighters craved some poutine and took a detour

blackmonsters 05-25-2013 09:49 PM

The reptilian overlords are not please with the quality of Canadian porn.

With a $16.7 trillion national debt - the U.S. couldn't afford to maintain one of our porta-potties.

They keep telling us it is about cash flow, not debt!

Our porta-potties enjoy a good flow, too.

meanwhile, in canada, your national debt is an equivalent % of your gdp as ours. and you have serious concerns about your debt management going forward.

but feel free to blame us for that too, it's not your fault.

True that - did I not mention we can't afford to maintain our own porta-potties? :1orglaugh

But we have vast poutine resources for export that will help bolster our GDP in the lean years to come.

We're exporting our porta-potty by-products to CurrentlySober as 'maple-flavoured Granola bars'.

Very stupid (ab)use of taxpayer's money ...

"The game opened with a flyover by two CF-18 fighter jets and the teams seemed to be still stunned from the deafening roar as they traded goals in the opening five minutes."

And every Christmas we will see
Bunches of presents under thee!

Something like that, anyway, who am I, Pavarotti?

sperbonzo 05-29-2013 10:40 AM

If it was Montreal, then they were "survolant", not "flying over", or the Montreal police would have shot them down

They're there to size up the Bell Centre for destruction since the Canadians suck at hockey.
Either that or they're curious if the French women started shaving their pits.
(Highly doubtful) :1orglaugh
