So I was cleaning up and had like 4 of those white postal buckets in my garage and put em outside for pickup... Anyways....

I just got home and saw her and she tells me they need to be cleaned... So i look and thee was like a small dead spider and some specs of dirt..... I turned it upside down and it got "cleaned" ... lazy bitch... she acted like they were filthy and someone shit in them..

Black and female. I just got out of line with the nastiest, most ignorant bitch I've encountered there yet.

My packages have labels printed, ready to go. All I have to do is drop them off. Bitch still managed to find some way to cop an attitude.

Funny enough, her boss is a friend's father. I'll mention something and will probably get a bunch of stories about her.

I get other people's mail in my box all the time. Frankly, I don't get check payouts from programs because I don't trust the mailman to do the incredibly complex task of putting the mail in the right box.

They are never EVER fired, that's why. Their union is so strong that when the postal service needs to cut back, they need to wait for people to quit or retire and then simply not hire new people.

My mail person is the worst. Once I watched him walk up to my house with a note saying "Sorry I missed you" with instructions on picking up my package at the post office. He didn't knock or even carry the package to my door.

It's not like he doesn't know I work from home.

I've had to go to the main post office 3 times in the past two weeks because of this same exact thing.

He walked up to the door and just put the pink slip on the window. Didn't even bring the packages or ring the doorbell.

Don't get me started on the the fact that I'll go two days with nothing in the mailbox and then bam, a shit ton of it on one day.

It's weird that we have a massive army of almost 3/4 of a billion people assembled to deliver 98% junk mail. These fucking idiots do little more than stuff mail boxes full of coupon booklets and still lose 15 Billion a year. It's not like the post office has a future. It's fucking insane that we even allow this much paper to get printed and moved around, only to be thrown away.

Of course, other than that, a perfectly functional and streamlined organization that runs like a well oiled machine. Thats why satisfaction ratings are so high and people prefer them to UPS, DHL and FedEx

i use fedex and did you they dont deliver ground packages on mondays? ups is the best of them all. they dont deliver on saturday im kool with that.

I didn't say I love the USPS. I avoid them at all costs but they lose their billions from the 75-year pension fund mainly.... something that the competition doesn't have to deal with.

I'm usually pretty pleased with my local postman and post offices.

Everytime I go in it's fucking swarmed with assholes.. I feel sorry for the people really. It's got to be a stressful job.

Regardless, I've never had anything go missing.. always use priority. Way faster than UPS for quite a bit cheaper too.

Weirdly though, I found that the best post office to go to if you have to use one is a ghetto post office. No lines in there.

A month or so ago I had to mail an international package. Went to the nice suburban post office and there were about 50 people in line and 2 employees working. Fuck that, drove over the the PO in the shitty part of town and walked right up to the counter.

But I agree that USPS sucks balls. We are sent payments for services via the snail mail system all the time, and it happens more and more these days that checks are "lost in the mail", only to arrive +/- a MONTH after it was postmarked. :disgust

(FYI these are all leftovers buckets before we moved in to the warehouse facilities these were when we started in the "garage" days lololol.... )

When I got my first ever passport I needed it in a hurry. They have a rush service that you can pay for, but my local post office told me that I had to take it to a specific office to have it processed. That was kind of a pain in the ass because it was about a 30 minute drive each way then I had to stand in line because it was a very busy office.

On the bright side they got the passport to me quickly and while waiting in line I saw a woman with a full beard so the trip ended up being worth it.

As for lazy ass useless post office employees, I have had mixed results. One place I lived they were terrible. They constantly delivered my mail to the wrong place and I got other people's mail and the service just sucked. Where I live now, they rock. The deliver woman will bring my mail up to the door if I have a package that is too big to fit in the box (most will just leave a notice) and she will bring my other mail with her so I don't have to make a trip. Back when I bought storage units I shipped a lot of stuff via USPS and they would deliver boxes to my house and pick them up from my house no problem.

If I go into my local office it is always the same people in there, they know me and handle any issue I have ASAP. However, like I said, I have had just the opposite as well other places.
