You should get:

1. A license that states that you have the right to use the conetent and how and where you have the right to use the content.
2. Model IDs for 2257
3. Model releases for 2257

Any normal content producer should give those to you.

yes most content providers will provide this to you however it is not always easy to find depending on how much content you purchase and how well it is organized. Before you start to think that they failed to send it to you be sure to dig through the files. I like it when content providers will separate the folders and make a special folder just for the 2257 docs/ID...usually labeled "docs" or "2257" ...lots of providers will just toss the 2257 in with the pics or video files.

+1 :thumbsup

Look at it this way - if Johnny Law came knocking, what would you need to prove that all of the models in the content you offer were legal AND that you had the right(s) to (re)distribute that content?

To answer your original question, you should at the very least have valid contact info for content providers in case it turns out that one of the models wasn't in fact over the age of consent, or that someone else is claiming ownership of the material - you want to be able to pass the buck to the responsible party so you aren't implicated.
