I have no where to host
 

Hey guys

I posted my introduction only a couple of days ago, claiming I am currently running my first ever Adult website..

That's now not the case.

Today I got this e-mail from my host:

'Hi Josh,

One of our system support staff has been monitoring the domain and the content that is being stored and hosted is not as described. Images of full sex shots are not acceptable for hosting so unfortunately the account has been suspended pending termination.

I?m sorry on this occasion we couldn?t assist you in your requirements.

Regards"

So at the moment, my whole website has come to a stand still.

I was wondering if any of you guys could suggest a host which allows adult content - the one I am referring to above was based here in the UK.

Hostgator accepts adult. They are a huge host too. Great support.

You know I use host gator and would NOT recommend them. They got too big and now their service sucks.

I haven't used hostgator support in quite a while but when I did use it they were amazing. It's a shame if they've let service slide, that's a huge selling point in a host.

I use arvixe as well as hostgator, and I have availed myself of Arvixe's online support recently (no fault on the part of Arvixe, I was trying to do something on my cpanel and messed things up spectacularly) and they solved the issues promptly and efficiently.

Amerinoc and Certified seem to be quite popular around here as well.

We jumped at the first suggestion as it's one we have been familar with in the past (HostGator)

To be honest, it's taken them 3 days to install the server and finally when they got round to it they somehow forgot to install cPanel..

Anyway, after migration we are finally online! Let's hope Host Gator can step it up..

Certified Hosting is A pretty reliable and fairly inexpensive Adult Hosting company

I use them for a few sites... I start them out with NERD accounts @ Certified, then move them up to dedicated slices then on to bigger and badder as needed, certified is fast to migrate to another server and if services spike they wont shut you down ( Unless you are pulling their network down) they will just nicely recommend something more suitable.

Ill be sure to give Certified a try if hostgator keeps causing me problems.. let's hope not.

For smaller packages go w/ Way3 or full servers use NatNet or Mojohost... I've used all 3 and all the best service out there!

I wouldn't touch Host Gator with a 10 foot pole. They "allow" adult content my a$$... they are always down, have horrible server stats and if they don't like your content they say it goes against their ToS. Get Certified... it's A hosting company built around hosting adult content. :2 cents:
