Black Hat doesn't necessarily mean scams and ripping people off. It doesn't even necessarily mean spamming. It can mean things like getting around Youtube and Tumblr restrictions and operating beyond their TOS like having ten (or 100 or 1000) accounts instead of just one.

Can't say I blame you though. But don't worry about the scumbags. Usually they get too greedy and it gets them in the end. They can't help themselves.

Started with "Black Hat", good money was made, but more time was spent sitting in front of my computer, not to mention all the work i put in to somethings just to get banned and/or suspended from some of my biggest cash grabbers.

I'm not against it (to an extent), just can't do it anymore.

What you described would be called gray hat imho.
Depends on the person though, for example some even call simple hard link trades black hat, some people call it gray hat, and some people consider it white hat.
