POF 2.0/Dating Website Discussion
 

There were a few guys who were talking in a past thread a few months back about teaming up to build a better POF type of website. I could not find that thread, so I figured I would start a new one to see how the project was going, or if it had gotten off the ground.

I believe a few of them were developers and had grown tired of the POF business model, or had a better idea.

Why not just create your own dating site with Dating Factory?

I was in that thread. I went in a different direction and I'm finishing up an android app related to dating. I've been working on it since that thread.

I am looking at some additional options in regards to plugging different social network sites (like dating) into something else I am working on. I am not really interested in the traditional dating site/revenue per se. Someone else can run the front end of it. For what I am looking for, partnering on site(s) like this would get me what I want, while helping them build what they want.
