the good news is nobody was hurt and i'd bet she learned a valuable lesson. riding motorcyles is a lot of that- lessons learned as you go. and learning how to look all around you with a full-face helmet on is a big lesson to learn. it's not easy keeping your head on a swivel, which is required with a full-face.

I don't care much about the kid being on the bike; That's common enough here. My kid used to ride on the back of my bike all the time.

How could she not see a bus coming up in the lane she was about to pull into? Don't say her helmet blocked her vision; If she couldn't physically see a bus coming up behind her she shouldn't have pulled out. Period.

i've fallen off bikes like that, i've took off with my girl on the back of my gixxer 750 (back in the day) with a wheelie and all i remember is her clawing at my back trying to grab anything to hang on to!

She comes off to me as someone who exists in her own world and has no real understand of the real world around her.

I remember a while back there were a couple of stories about how out of touch she was when it came to the cost of things. One was when she was a guest blogger on some fashion site. She wrote a post about these shirts that she loved. They looked like regular, basic t-shirts. She talked about how comfortable they were and some of the features and that they came in seven colors. The good news was that the shirts were only $700 each so you could afford to get it in all seven colors.

The other was when she and her personal trainer decided to open up some kind of special gym where they basically gave the members the same workout that she did. Not a bad idea. The problem was it cost $2,500 per month to be a member and it didn't do very well.
