mental illness

my best friend has early on set dimension... started a few years ago... first is was not remembering events, then went to nominal aphasia, then lost reading comprehension...

went missing for a few days.. . just a day ago found wandering around sunburned in his boxers, in a furniture store... some other buddies were able to get him back to his place.

he had refused to move so we had a caretaker stop in every few days to look after him etc... now they have him at a mental ward in a hospital for observation... he's lost over 20lbs... last I time I had seen him, he was skinny. now he looks like a concentration camp inmate with glazed eyes...

also looks like by buddy had been down on Melrose and western passing out his stuff... a 56 les paul and 71 strat are missing from his guitar collection... hopefully who ever has then will take care of them and play the shit out of them....

what a way to end up... at 59... :2 cents:

Scary stuff

I'm sorry to hear about that. If you have any kind of contact with people that will be getting care for him tell them to make sure to look around and ask a lot of questions about either the caregiver or the facility he is going to live in. A lot of assisted living centers are not equipped to deal properly with people that have dementia but they take them anyway because they want the money.

I have had friends suffer from bipolar which has been very difficult for everyone to deal with.

my girlfriends mother developed vascular dementia after having a stroke. we eventually had to put her in a home because it was just too much to try and care for her. it was only a matter of time before something bad happened. she lives in such a state of utter confusion, its pretty sad.

Just a quick question. Did he drink a lot of diet soda? or artificial sweeteners?
I know someone who has that and it was from a stroke too and all they drink is diet sodas.
also what kind of pills do they have him on?

Barry-xlovecam 09-12-2013 06:19 AM

Sorry to hear of your friend's early onset dementia.

I think bi-polar is an over diagnosed mental disease as is ADS.

I think in bi-polar disease diagnosis, anxiety can manifest similar symptoms and ADS has a lot do do with behavioural traits and even can be diet induced.

he claims it was caused by an accident that banged the fuck out of his head.. on some schizoid meds I think... small does... MRI's show major brain shrinkage... came on slowly for a few years then the last 2 years, major downhill racing :2 cents:

90% of the models are heavy drug users... i.e. weed.. and I love it when they say it's just weed... it's not doing anything... why use the weed if it's not doing anything? right?

the new breed of models aren't able to concentrate on any task for more than a few minutes... weed? bi-polar? ADS? beats me.... seems like there is always an excuse for something these days....

BTW most women aren't emotionally set up to have sex with random strangers... it's fucks them up.... this to me is the underlying cause of the anxiety/depression the models try and mask with drugs... you'll notice as soon as the model finds a new loser...whoops!!! I mean new boyfriend, many times that model will stop working with boys :2 cents:

Actually the volume of toxicity is measurable and real. They are just not measuring.

I knew someone who started off forgeting things, not sleeping, then it got worse, he would forget where he parked his car, then where he lived, he had to stop driving, then couldnt look after himself.

He would wander around the streets naked, dribbling and shouting and swearing at cars. Running in the road, naked, walking into restaurants and pissing on the floor.

From there he deteriorated into little more than a shell of a human, a virtual living vegetable, drooling from his mouth and living in his own piss and shit while rolling around swearing at his shadows.

Last I heard, he started an adult webmaster affiliate program. Apparently he's doing quite well
