epassporte

Has anyone here set up a commercial account with them? And if so how long did it take to get a response from them, and it all set up?

greenlab 03-04-2003 07:13 AM

Also if someone can tell what papers do you actualy need to open an commercial account. (like company papers, id copy etc.) or just a signed contract ?

baddog 03-04-2003 08:59 AM

perhaps the delay in getting a response is actually a subtle hint on what you may expect from them in future dealings.

Just a thought.

OzKaNoz 03-04-2003 09:05 AM

I think Epassporte will make it a lot easier on webmasters once it's in full swing. Right now I think it's fairly new. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Who said there was a delay? If anyone needs data, please email [email protected] for sales and contract information.

well, when you take into account it only took 7 minutes to get a response to my comment, yeah it is :winkwink:

RSharpe 03-04-2003 09:36 AM

baddog, for your own sake I hope you're taking the piss mate. Two hours isn't long at all considering that the epassporte/epoch team have things to do besides monitor this BB.

Any query put to them directly by e-mail is normally answered within 15 minutes; this has been my experience at least.

and knowing goodgirl like I do, I know she would not start this thread if she had not already tried the direct contact approach.

She really is a shy young thing. :Graucho

That really is a long time considering its not even 9 am on the west coast and the sales staff might not have gotten to the office yet...

We set up our commercial account for spotbrokers.com in a matter of a day or two -- the ONLY thing that is ever a delay that we've noticed is the wire transfer into our account itself, and that is due to the fact that it goes in via a bank in NY and then on to the epassporte bank, which sometimes causes the wire to be held up over night in NY.

As far as the contract goes, you will need to sign it and provide a copy of an id, yes.

well, how about if I told you that goodgirl sent them an e-mail yesterday and never received a response from them until I made my comment about delay?

Wake up on the wrong side of the bed, did we?

baddog 03-04-2003 09:43 AM

I am sorry, my bad, I read it wrong. She sent Rand an e-mail on Friday, with no response.

goodgirl 03-04-2003 09:44 AM

Well I did email Rand Friday. And then Rand and customer service I believe yesterday morning. And then commercial accounts last night.

Just so you know, I didn't receive a reply from anyone within 15 mins. I didn't receive a reply at all.

And baddog knows me well, I usually don't post much.

as a matter of fact, yes. and i am thinking of going back and starting over again.

Some days it does not pay to get up, but then you would not know how the actions of others are fucking with you, so it is a Catch-22

I know what you mean, I do it at least a couple days a week.

I'm off to spend the day in San Diego so I won't be answering my emails in 15 minutes either. ;)

Sure, why not, as many America Worst miles as I have it shouldn't be a problem for them to stop... the beach sounds nice tho!

I am not sure, but I think they still have one in San Diego :)

however, I will have a skyhook set up in my front yard, so just have them slow up a little bit and I should be able to snag the jet as it goes by.

Or you could just parachute, and we can drive down. I can get there faster than you would get your luggage anyway

Cash 03-04-2003 09:56 AM

Epassporte rules! Too bad there are few sponsors now using it to pay webmasters, but if companies not having epassporte accounts could pay to a webmaster's epassporte account (like a wire) it would be great!!
