its 100 years and in the uk they are doing events and stuff.

are they doing anything in the usa?

though for you its not a 1914 war as like with ww2 you came in a few years after we (uk) had done most of the work.

Well, next time we'll stay at home. Good luck.

when doing civilian service in a retirement home in 1991, one of my patients - a 97 year old pastor - told me about his experiences in WWI in the trenches in France. Nothing i would ever want to experience myself.

You need to know history to understand his comments. He's saying that the anniversary for the U.S.'s involvement in World War 1 wouldn't be this year, 2014, because the US didn't officially enter WW1 until 1917, three years after it had started in Europe. Similar to how the U.S. didn't engage in the heaviest ground fighting on the Continent in WW2 until much later at D-Day in 1944 as opposed to the European antagonists who were fighting as early as 1939.

I fully understand history, especially military history. that was not the point I was pointing out by asking for english translation.

Zionists are still railoading the US into wars. They mark the occasion near enough every day.
