Watermarking for Tube Submits

Basically you want to do this right?

I don't know how to do it with your tool, but note that it could get you into trouble as you would clearly be pirating your sponsors content and profiting from it without respecting their copyright.

They could forfeit all your earnings as well as sue you directly for misusing their content or not respecting their rights.

I wouldn't do it. Watermarks are there for a reason.

hey thanks for the reply. ive noticed that some sponsors allow for this method but only if the watermark you replace theirs with leads to a white label that exclusively promotes their site or is a redirect to their join page, etc

lol i have permission man. like i said before... as long as the watermark you use links to a site that promotes the sponsor's content exclusively... some sponsors will allow that.

for example:

check the video loaded here:
http://www.pinktube.com/watch/192787...hows-her-tits/

now type in the watermark they use.... it redirects directly to the tour of the sponsor...

Some sponsors do allow it. But there are usually restrictions in doing so and each is different.

It could be done, but I would make sure to respect every associated terms as your earnings could be forfeited and you could get into copyright problems for even one small mistake.

I'm totally against it on my own content. And I'm really respectful about others as I wish for them to be as respectful about mine.

i hear you 100% and totally agree. i have no intention of ripping off anyone's content. just playing by the rules i'm given by each

I've been looking around for software that does this myself for months and haven't found anything that works in batches. It can't be that difficult when there's a billion of the damn things out there other affiliates have made. I really don't want to spend $500-$1000 to do something that's relatively simple, either.

Any input would be MUCH appreciated.

As mentioned, you do have to get permission beforehand, and depending on traffic the sponsor may create custom versions of the promo videos for you.

I think peeps are getting confused about what's being talked about here.

I HAVE permission, as does the OP. And I've found no affiliate managers will go through all the extra trouble of creating tube clips with the watermark that bears my white-label redirect url (which goes to their site). They allow it, condone it, and I know of many that encourage it. I have gotten emails, for example, from Wank Pass delineating how to do it. Doing this is a great way to get sales, and the sponsors know it. It encourages "type-in" sales.

The only thing we're having trouble with and are asking for help on is this:

What relatively affordable software can make the job of watermarking videos (preferably in batches) in such a way that the sponsor's url (i.e. RealityKings.com) can be covered up w/a white label background image bearing an affiliate-coded redirect url (i.e. RealitySexVidz.com)?

I would recommend just buying your own videos, with full rights as well as 2257 paperwork (to cover your ass). You can buy these videos relatively inexpensive nowadays from content producers. If you do that then should have no worries. As far as watermarking is concern you can do it pretty easily on windows movie maker.

ffmpeg is your friend , free and batch possible
