Best utility to leech videos from a tube site?

I'm looking for an utility to leech videos from a tube site.

I want to use it for.. research purposes.

Anyone know a good one?

Bandwidth is so cheap that it's not worth it to leech anymore.
The video will just go dead after a while when you leech.

Mine. It uses progressive streaming which is pretty easy to leech.

I'm using HTTrack at the moment which I've used for such things before.

Thanks for the suggestion. I banned Java from my computer after I got 2 format-threatening viruses from it though.

I would prefer not installing it only for a single utility.

I mean no offense to you, but how can you be a serious webmaster if you've "banned java" from your computer?

I don't install the Java JRE (java runtime environment). Anything else is fine. There aren't many applications requiring it.

I've not formatted my old laptop since 2002 and I've also been making websites online since that time. Java is really not a 'required' software on any computer. It has been full of exploits for years and its update feature has been lacking. I do have two others that are more recent.

My 3 laptops feel quite better without it.

Not TubeAce, before he comes in here spamming copy/paste release information.

I've seen a lot of reputable GFYers slamming on TubeAce. I'm not questioning their opinions at all. I just want to know (a little more specifically) what's wrong with it. :helpme
