On old desktops, you could boot from CD, put in a special CD and make another admin login..

How do you do it on laptops with no CD Drive? Flash Drive??

Unless you laptop is more then 10 years old,you should be able to boot up with USB stick.I dont eve use anymore dvd rom,since it's faster to to boot up with usb stick,plus it also write iso image faster to it.

Try to logged in safe mode by pressing F8 key during boot

Just goto a local Starbucks, punch a poser in the face, and steal a new macbook pro...
