Why does he do this? Not just this spot... I can't have him in my bed anymore. All day everyday he wants his pillows.. I can't handle it anymore. Should I just let him go? With pillow? Wtf.. Lol

He looks happy as a clam chewing that pillow. Who knows why dogs do half the things they do, I'm sure they think the same of us too...

That's good. I should have his teeth checked.. He has done it for a good three years... I was working out of town two years ago (i was also alone at the time, but now he always has a friend) when he first started loving his pillows. Thanks for the comments!! Hope they help. I love my dog

Maybe he's nervous, Jerry Tarkanian always bit a towel when the game was close. (college basketball coach)

To me it looks like an anxiety or neurotic thing, lots of them chew on stuff like that. Maybe he had separation anxiety a couple years ago, now the habit's stuck or there's some other stressor going on. That is my guess.

My dog licks pillows when she's nervous, but she also does obsessive things with socks for no reason - secretly (she thinks) taking them out of my laundry hamper every day after breakfast, balling them up her in mouth, then hiding them somewhere. If you catch her and say what do you have there, she just drops it out of her mouth in mid-stride and keeps walking like "What sock?? I don't have a sock". Dogs are odd.

Eddy has a sock thing as well - She hides them under the toys in her bed - The longer I have been wearing them the more she loves them - Odd indeed...

Try and get him some companionship, can't hurt to see what happens.

By the way are you going long walks with him, and how often ?
