Come To Colombia and Party
Come to LaLExpo make great business and lets Party !!!
WHY SHOULD I PROMOTE MY BUSINESS IN THIS EVENT ? It is the first event of its type in Latin America. The main niche of this event is VideoChat, which is clearly the sector that currently dominates the adult entertainment. An estimated 30-35% of all Models Currently in Videochat sites are Colombian and Hundreds of Studio Executives and Models will be present at this event. Therefore the business potential is immeasurably large. http://i59.tinypic.com/j184eo.jpg http://i58.tinypic.com/okyelg.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/hresyg.jpg |

What stats do you have to base your claim that 35% of cam models will be there?

I don't give a shit if they are giving pussy away for free wrapped in $1000 dollar bills. I'm alive at 42 for one damn good reason. I've got common sense. The quickest way to prevent being snatched up and having a bag thrown of your head as an American...is to not visit certain countries.
I'm including Columbia on my Axis Of Evil. Good rule of thumb. If the police there have to wear masks over the heads to do their job, then you can be pretty damn sure you don't want to go there. |
I'm sold... I've been to Columbia before and I thought it was awesome

I think if you believe that Colombia is not a country for Tourists or Business you probably have never been outside of your Town. Is 2014 for Gods sake, or are you gonna tell me about that Pablo Escobar shit from 20 years ago ? About your second comment, I have never seen a cop here with a mask, not even special forces. But as I recall in mexico some Cops do wear masks, is mexico also on your "Axis of Evil". Are you afraid also to go eat at Mexican restaurants ? Last year Cali / Colombia was the home of the World Games, there were thousands of tourists and sportsman in the City. And not a single issue was reported. "Common sense" is also to be intelligent enough to know that everywhere shit can happen. Even at your home town. |

Sounds way too high. I mean 35% Colombian and only 65% for th rest of the world? I believe these numbers can be reached at certain sites, but overall? Too big of a number to be true :2 cents: |

Lets talk some real statistics... Crime is a serious problem in Cali. As of 2006, there were 1,540 intentional homicides in the city and 1,726 overall when including the metropolitan area. The rates for the city and metropolitan area were 62 and 63 per 100,000 respectively. By 2011 this has increased to 71 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants, which has led certain commentators to declare a 'crisis of security' in Cali.[11][12] Between 1 January and 1 June 2011 there were 923[13] intentional homicides in the inner city of Cali, which is considered a 5% increase compared to 2010.[14] The surge in violence in Cali in 2011 has partly been attributed to what has been described as an ongoing 'mafia war' between the 'neo-paramilitary' groups Los Rastrojos and Los Urabeņos.[15] Los Rastrojos are considered the 'heirs' of the Cali Cartel and Los Urabeņos have their roots in Colombia's atlantic coast. Los Rastrojos are accused of committing at least 80 murders in Cali in 2011.[16] According to Colombia's most influential weekly magazine, Semana, there are over 1,700 assassins working for various groups in the city.[17] As of 2011 urban militias, known as Milicias Populares, of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia are active in the city and surrounding areas.[18][19] Local civilians and foreigners have been advised by the DAS to take caution due to the risk of planted bombs and kidnappings.[20] The metropolitan police and the Colombian Army have taken action to stop several high profile bomb attacks against military and administrative centers in recent years, such as the multiple FARC attacks against Cali's Palace of Justice in 2008 and 2010.[21][22] These FARC militias in the Cali metropolitan area are thought to number more than 1000, and have caused serious concern among the authorities as they have stepped up activity in 2011. So thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather go to Vegas to see a bunch of dirty whores and get mugged by a bunch of meth addicts before I'd travel 2600 miles to get thrown in a shitty broken down 1980s truck and held for a bunch of worthless pesos. Lets not forget that Colombia is also on the Travel Warning list of the US government. I pay these fuckers enough taxes, so...I'll take their word for it that in some instances....they are doing their job... |

Real world and statistics is just two different things. |
One of those "all American" people who probably does not have much travel experience if any and has skewed view towards the world from statistics and other "theory" :)

Here is the real deal. Money and porn in the USA is a legitimate business these days, ran by business men...and not mobsters or other illicit types.....for the most part. In other countries like Russia, Columbia...its not. It has a high degree of influence from the people who fund these projects and of course owning pussy and whores is right up the alley of the drug cartels.
I could goto AVN and get piss drunk and run around the complex with badge on my neck and not have to worry at some point that I'm not going to run into a drug lord or his associates. Going to a pornography convention in Colombia....don't be so sure about the people you might brush elbows up against. Then if you tell me it safe because you have plenty of security in place and everybody has been checked, patted down, wanded, and passed a government checklist for known criminals......wtf does that tell you about the circumstances of whats going on. Sure why not visit Columbia. After that..I'm going to take my yacht sailing off the Ethiopian coast...I hear its beautiful this time of year... |

I don't have any plans to visit Pakistan or Somalia anytime soon either... |

Keep learning about the World through your TV, CNN or Internet. And yes your Government tells you always the truth, follow the leader :1orglaugh About your stats how many of those death were Americans or tourists in Cali ? let me answer that for you ZERO. Also I tell you what is common sense, you dont go to any country, or place you dont know looking for trouble, you dont go wearing a Rolex or gold chains, and you do not go to the guetto. I believe if you follow those simple rules you would be safe in Colombia, Thailand, Germany,or wherever fuck you decide to go. You would not imagine how many Americans live here in Cali and you see walking arround, without any problem. Comparing Pakistan, Somalia Ethiopia with colombia let us see how ignorant you are. |
Is columbia like cuba? I hear great things about cuba that likely wont last much longer

Let's talk real statistics. They issued the travel warning because of a car bomb that killed two people in Bogota. So by that logic, Boston should also have a travel advisory, because of the Boston Marathon bombings. That said, I have Colombian friends that own businesses in Cali and they visit them maybe once a month. Cali is dangerous for wealthy Colombians. It's also not my favorite city. I much prefer Medellin, Bogota and Tunja. |

I happen love latin culture. I love the food. I love the women. I love the people. I speak fluent spanish. I've been to many latin american countries. I eat empanadas frequently. I probably eat more flour and corn tortillas than I do bread. It's not my fault your country is: a) extremely poor b) wrought with violence c) areas controlled by drug cartels d) government and police forces steeped in corruption To me those are good enough reasons not to visit your country. If that upsets you, I suggest you talk to your local tourism board and maybe they can come up with a better slogan....like Come To Columbia: We Don't Kill As Many People Anymore.... If other people want to go to your expo. I hope they have a great time, but lets not pretend like its in the same category as visiting Orlando to go to Disney World, or Amsterdamn to take in some prime hookers and weed. I've said my peace. You don't need a PhD in World Studies to know Columbia is a dangerous country and that Cali tops the list as the worst city in that country. PS. Please don't have me murdered. |
