The reason I ask is that I only started doing this recently, now that I've started I can see a big benefit :2 cents:

Not really, but I guess that is a freesite? Wouldn't make a lot of sense on a paysite heh

I used to when I had my forum and I had a LOT of spam bots. Didn't seem to make much difference though they still got through.
No idea if it sped up the site or reduced bandwidth though.

Yeah for a freesite, I'm guessing a lot of paysites won't have this problem apart from the ones with lots of free pics available :2 cents:

If they really want to they will go through, though a good percentage won't bother retrying :2 cents:
