Granted, there seems to be some sort of Canadian inferiority complex vis-a-vis the U.S.

But I like to see it as a bit of nationalistic pride, much like American chest-thumping patriotism, albeit on a mellower level. You don't see Canadian flags draped off every balcony around here.

And I think poutine would nuke any cultural/heritage pride thing - except maybe Jack Daniels, Jazz and Mark Twain. But that's just the quebecer in me :P

We just like watching Americans get their panties in a knot when we highlight their lack of knowledge of some things.

we all know the power of editing and how it applies to the idiots on the street type of videos. They can be funny, regardless of how many peeps take them as gospel. nevertheless, i've never been presented with a "americans are better than canadians*

not to mention have that supported with such nonsense like canadian healthcare is better (with supporting breaking bad gifs, lolz). Money is better in canada because there's a picture of a fried american dollar bill?

let's just gather up all the negative stereotypes and extrapolate from there.

As a Canadian, I find the US-vs-Canada antics kind of embarassing. No one is able to invoke any kind of cultural change, why not just appreciate what each of us have and enjoy it?
