I remember some of the first porn I ever saw on a computer was back on an IBM Clone that had a Hercules card. It was "high res" at the time but I think had only 4 bits per pixel, or maybe only 2 bits per pixel, so shades were rendered only by pixel density and not much else. The porn was some babe giving a BJ. It was a "video" was a 150KB file that lasted about 5 seconds and then looped, and was given to me by a friend on a 180KB 5.25" floppy disk or something like that. Those were the days!

Good old days, we don't have to worry about viruses (or just not know that there are) :)

Hah. I have my IBM XT clone (a Swan XT 10) in my closet in the hallway. On top of it sits a gen-you-whine color monitor. I souped it up by replacing the Intel 8086 processor with an NEC. Got a couple more clock ticks out of it. Enough to run Windows 286 (which I have in the box with the floppy disks and the manual. Yes, software came with manuals.. even Windows)
Shit, I just realized that I could charge admission to this dump. |
