Silly Question re Windows Vista....
I've been mac for ages, but I just pulled out my old Sony VAIO for fun...
What I want is a way to display ALL the folders on the hardrive BY SIZE... Anything I can download / or / a simply way to do it in Vista? I just wanna get rid of some of my older, bigger file folders, but its been so long since I used windows, I cant remember how to do poo it :helpme |
Right click.. Sort By... Size

Despite the box being checked in the right click menu.... It still sorts them by name :( I know back in the days of XP (03/04) you could download a separate program, that did exactly what I want... Took the entire computers HD, and listed each and every folder by size.... Thats what I'm really looking for - Thanks anyway though :) |

Well, I'd 'assume' that myself, but in my case - It dosent :( NOT THE END OF THE WORLD lol I just wanna search my HD for large files - But keep like say 'Website Backups' But dispose of other 'nonsense files' that I may have created 7 years ago lol :) |
if you are trying to find big folders and files, check out a program called treesize....
http://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/ works great :thumbsup :thumbsup |
