From the start here is the problem. Locations, Private Jets, High End cars in a mega film with "Adult" legends do not make erotic films .

That is just a way of wasting money.

What truth will this film bring to the audience? What erotic action will it capture?

What struggle for the hero and or heroine will the film portray?

It is not big budgets that are needed but a bit of thought and creativity.

Putting the cart before the horse is having the cars, locations and props before a story that call for them.

The result is a mess like the last Max Candy mess, with girls firing off machine guns, flame throwers driving tanks in a total waste of money in a vain attempt to make a school play look like James Bond.

I got no trust fund, and each movie has made a profit, but its a tough grind out there, allot more budget/creative challenges and general hostility from random haters that i have ever seen before.

It not hatred to say that a film is bad. It is an opinion.

I saw one of this threads about this great film and I went and bought the film.

It is an opinion based on taking the time to watching the film.

I notice that no one has come forward and said that the film is well acted, well shot and directed, that it had a great script and takes erotic film making to a new level.

Why not ?
Because it fails on every level. The story, script, acting, lighting are all awful.

Does this matter?

On one level it makes it difficult for other film makers because models have this terrible way of performing erotic scenes , over acting and making strange exaggerated grunting noises, that takes a lot of time and work to get them to stop.

The main reason is that it would be good if there were some real well made erotic films made. Where the story is about an erotic subject. Say a girls search for her first orgasm. Or a couple who have sexual problems explore the erotic to find happiness.

Per se erotic films do not need big budgets. They do need intelligence and creativity.

So leave the flame thrower at home.

Look at other mainstream erotic films...
Work with a script writer. Then audition models to get a select few with a film look and acting talent. Do some directing and acting workshops, rehearse the scenes. get a professional DOP....

Do the above and with half the budget the film will have a chance of been a good erotic film

I did a Google search for Cherry's site and found links to some of his movies on a few of the tubes. Watched a few to see this *genius* at work. I saw nothing that in any way looked cinematic to me. We're all doing our best to perfect our craft, fine tune the process and produce a higher quality product. There's bound to be jealous haters like Cherry who don't feel that they get the amount of recognition for their work that they deserve.... so they switch gears to attacking and criticizing others in public - thinking that this will somehow bring them fortune & fame. I see this all the time here on GFY and in our industry in general. So many haters, drama queens, stalkers & bullies who feel that they've been slighted in life so they take their anger out on those who deserve to be recognized for their superior work.

Do you think the acting is good? As good a TV drama? A mainstream movie? An indie movie?

How about the lighting, the camera movements?

How was the script ? Was it well written ?

The DVD sold for $25 ...do you think that was good value for money?

Can you see the difference between well crafted films and rubbish that the porn industry calls a movie. If you can't what does that say about you?
