Obnoxious FAQ is Poor Choice IMHO...what about you?
 

I kinda fucking hate when sites/businesses have frequently asked questions listed on their site that turns into a mockery. I understand they think it is funny to be sarcastic and spout non-sense but it comes off to me as being more of less disrespectful toward their customers as well as being unprofessional. Does this shit bother you too? Best practices? I think not...here is an example:

I think that this question is intended to tone down the bossy aspect of this FAQ, but there is some serious answers in this FAQ so it's ok for me.

I think you are running out of things to bitch about.

That's terrible business practice and I think it makes them look like assholes. Their FAQ page doesn't even provide a list of questions linked to the answer even if it is a snarky waste of space and time.

Would not make me want to go there and might actually make me choose another place to see a movie. Like in my house with a big TV and all the food a few steps away and no rules but my own.

Or, maybe they need a momentary distraction from all of their workload and thought they would run something past their peers instead of whacking off again. It happens!

If you have built a site that matters in the last 4 or 5 years your client may have wanted a FAQ so that is why I would imagine people here would care to listen to my rant.
