Anybody using S3Media Stream Wordpress plugin

Is anybody using the S3Media Stream WordPress plugin to protect streaming video from being downloaded ?

Is there any other way for a streaming video member area to protect its content ?

Thanks for your answers.

i use something for downloadable content, to expire the urls after 60 seconds, and the content is actually not accesable via the root domain, so even if you had the filename you couldnt download it.

The problem with classic video player in WordPress is that you could get the mp4 url in the source code, so I'm trying to find something to protect the mp4 to be downloadable or to be extracted with a thirdparty software or sites such as YouTube to Mp4 ones.

Use RTMP.

It's not 100% safe, but at least it'll make it harder and will turn off several thiefs. It'll also help you save on bandwidth.

RTMP only works in Flash.
I need a HTML5 solution so that the protection works for Apple devices too.

I have no experience with it, but maybe that could do:

I used the S3Media plugin on a mainstream video site and it prevents people from downloading from the MP4 url, but there are tons of browser plugins that they were still able to download with. For instance the Firefox UnPlug plugin allows you to download from a S3Media protected site...

Thanks for your answer. This way I know it's pointless to pay for using this plug-in if it doesn't protect your videos from downloading.
