Here is the master list if you are interested in doing a file search in plain text to see if any of yours is on there: https://mega.co.nz/#!rgFDDRSD!QyyLxZ...X5o0dxdl-bE3zQ

Just an FYI and I should have included it in my original post, but there are NO PASSWORDS in that list, just the email addresses. I didn't want anybody to think that I was distributing a master g,ail password list or something :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

MultiXXX 09-10-2014 01:04 PM

Thanks bro. Password changed :upsidedow And 2 step auth set up. Btw, first time I see Mega as being useful...

why? :) it was not google hack, it was someone collected email combos from google and tried to make money on it ... nothing related to google, there are reports that along with this google list there are another 4m leaked yahoo emails and other providers also ... but, as i said in other thread, it was just scam and nothing else, five minutes of glory for that asshole and traffic for that bitcoin forum ... :2 cents:

Under *NIX to search for a particular string in a file...

grep -R "yourstring" "path/to/file"

this way we dont have to open the 5M lines file.

Funny thing, one of my emails is on the list...but the password that the isleaked.com site associates with it, is one that I changed over a year ago.

Interesting to know that forms even with email addy is so lightly shown. Password hackers usually would need to find an email address then the password, half the job done :upsidedow

Just curious, why do you think this is a scam or just bull, TeenCat? They published my old Google password, that I have never used anywhere else...

there are many factors, as it is not possible and never was possible to bruteforce google. some reports says there are also 4m yahoo emails leaked, and i think 1m of zdnet emails accounts leaked. it is not possible that someone got into database of google, yahoo or zdnet in one time, impossible, and if it was possible, it will be group of hackers, not one guy who published everything in one plain txt file. you remember few years ago, whole digitalplayground hack, it was plain txt with 55k of users with emails? simple macro can filter whole informations to email:password line, and then filter it to google for example only. imho it was promo for that bitcoin forum, or, guy posted part and wanted to make money on whole file, or, it was promotion for google double layer security :) but, believe me, nobody who have brain on the right place will never publish something like that for free, and nobody who dont have brain, will never got actual file at the first place ... :2 cents: but i may be wrong ... :2 cents: you said you never put that place anywhere else, than it may be some backdoor or trojan in your computer. but, google bruteforce is not possible, and, google database hack is not possible :2 cents: but, i may be wrong :)

TeenCat 09-11-2014 11:25 PM

just looking at those few passwords leaked in that printscreen ... some of those passwords are random numbers and letters, it will took tons of time to bruteforce it on your computer, and not talking about bruteforce it online, when google have limitations for login attempts and so ... there is tons of services, that are not secure, like that digitalplayground, and there sure is tons of services who dont care about security or dont know how to have good security, so those services may be hacked and one day everything is published on the internet and it is not hard to put all that shit together into one file :2 cents: btw, i have tried some of those emails, just to find them in google, and most of them had zero searches, so it is like those emails were complete fake, made, to make small gmail list much bigger ... :2 cents:

These "hacks" might be a result of http://heartbleed.com/
