When you're flipping channels for a football game to watch, and stumble onto a baseball game. Then you say to yourself "How the fuck is goddamn baseball still on? There is only football."

Those fuckers are always playing, pre-season, 162 regular games, playoff's, WS.

How can you know who is the best by playing 160 games? After a certain point the law of averages probably comes into play.

Plus one thing I don't understand is how people can sit there and watch the games, it's like if they win or lose, it really doesn't matter that much, they've still got another 100+ more games to play, not to mention, baseball is a very boring sport. Whereas with football, every game is extremely important.

both have existed for about 150 years or so together, why is it a problem now again?

Baseball was relegated to highlights long ago for me. Who has time? 160 games is insanity.

Sports highlights takes like 20 minutes to watch tops, and in that you get the gist of half a dozen or more games per night.

Football trumps all by a mile. Well,... until Hockey season starts in a few weeks. :D

It's because the starting pitchers are rotated. Everything's a series rather than a one-off game.

(apart from the wildcard decider which bizarrely is a one-off game)
