If Colin is involved, it must be good.
It's about time Google started facing increased competition. |

search Boodigo on their site and it comes up 7th . Try to search anything you would usually get some kind of ranking on any other search engine and it does not seem to show .

Oh wait, apple and Samsung wrecked much of that flawed assumption.... What goes up, must come down. Google is making some massive mistakes lately. One company won't replace them but they have gotten into too many markets and made too many enemies. Search censorship, content piracy, privacy issues, pissing off book publishers, angering data carriers... I'd be very unwilling to buy their stock as a long term play and there is a lot of room for competitors. Will boodigo own half the market? Unlikely. Could it take 5% of the market? Absolutely. What's 5% of Search worth in 2014? |

it really seems to be in love with Tumblr!

I don't understand how this is any different from Google.

nice one Colin, here's to you making inroads as you go on with this project :thumbsup

People call it duck for short, so not so long ago I typed Duck.com and guess what, it redirects to Google! Whois shows duck.com domain has been bought by google, no level those bastards at google won't sink to, even borderline cybersquatting a much smaller site. and all while non-stop pontificating their self-righteous crap to other webmasters. |
At this point it is all bro club and piracy site links. Attaboy! :321GFY

Well I really think if there was a search engine for porn, it should be a 100% graphic or video search, I mean, text is so 1990 and its hard to connect the fantasy of a keyword with just reading texts result and clicking every one of the link trying to seek for what you wanna jerk off.

An engine for adult may be just in time, and the data you are talking about is not that hard to get from adult-specific sources if they make some smart moves. :2 cents: |

Thanks for the findings AK!
Keep 'em coming so we can continue banning :-) Best Regards, Colin |
Also, if anyone wants to post up some known keyword searches for stolen or illegal content, we'd love to get them to add to our "bad words" database that is ramping up now for preventing results for known piracy sites.
Who would have known that the word "forum" is codeword for torrent and fileshare sites! Best Regards, Colin |

looks good, but need a true search engine limited only should be to child porn

That's actually driven by a nifty relationship with http://www.iafd.com/ who provides us with performer bio info and a photo based on keyword searches by users typing in searches for porn stars. The link goes over to http://www.iafd.com/ page for that performer, (in Max Hardcore's case, here http://www.iafd.com/person.rme/perfi...x-hardcore.htm ) with links to their websites, social media, etc. |
now if only all adult websites gently reminded its surfers what a bunch on cunts Google really is and that there IS an alternative, how quickly would Google stop shafting us? After all, porn and porn surfers must make up at least 1/3 to a half of all web traffic and if they started sloping off to another SE, would Google start taking notice?.

What I am criticising is that they are heralding this as a piracy free search engine yet have not gone to the trouble of identifying the worst piracy sites and just blocking them from the index. If anyone from the project wants access to our API to have a live list of piracy source sites and piracy sites then we'll be happy to provide it to them. |

That quoted remark would have been a better opener to accomplish the mission imho :thumbsup |

This would be very helpful. We pretty quickly discovered that a ton of piracy sites were slipping in under the radar and your database sounds like a great solution. Best regards, Colin |
